the idea of using face book or twitter for the library is an idea that I had not before considered. I think that I like the idea of twitter better than facebook, but that is just from a pursal of each without actually using either one. It seems like a very up to date way of keeping the library in the face of our patrons and community. It also seems like a great way to keep the community apprised of what is going on, what is new, and where to find certain things that might be relevant to them.
This would take more time from someone who is already very busy, but would be worth it. My only concern would be the type of comments that might be posted on each tweet.
